Job description:
We are looking for a talented CAD Design Engineer to join our team at MAVAR Dynamics and contribute to the design, development, and control of future transmission and driveline systems. The position is in the Tunis Area with flexibility for some work from home.

Responsibilities:
- Provide and Manage Harmonized Computer Aided Design (CAD) Data Structures in support of Vehicle Development and Design Step Release related deliverables
- Create Advanced Study Trees for use by all Metafunctions
- Create / Manage Pre-Production Trees and Variants that reflect the latest BOM content and Production Design Intent
- Create / Manage Pre-Production Step Release Metrics in support of Computer Aided Design (CAD) Steps 0/A/B/C
- Create / Manage Pre-Production MCA Structures and Change-Over Background Structures for Advanced Engineering
- Create Specialized Teamcenter Variants that reflect pre-defined VP Build Effectivity
- Perform re-positioning of component positions lost during data/tree migration
- Network with ARCH/PLE/ME/CAE principals to define Teamcenter Variant Configurations that meet widespread industrial needs
- Monitor and address alignment issues occurring between EBOM and Teamcenter (CODEP where applicable)
- Ensure Data Integrity of Prioritized Tracked Variants (PTVs)
- Facilitate coordination of hand-off activities to Functional Teams (aliasing, data positioning, configuration)
- Create / Manage / Report Production Design Integrity Reports in support of Production for all Computer Aided Design (CAD) Steps and Launch
- Design Release Status
- Lead mitigation and remediation of Computer Aided Design (CAD)/BOM Non-Compliances specific to Global Workshare Programs (e.g., M-Series, VF, M18x)
- Produce Specialty Reports that support business needs (TKO, Weight, Trend Analysis, Where-Used, etc.)
- Create / Manage Pre-Production Step Release Metrics in support of Computer Aided Design (CAD) Steps 0/A/B/C
- Teamcenter Data Security
- Data Tree Administration
- Teamcenter Issue Resolution
- Institutionalize Lessons Learned, Best Practices, Processes, and Tools
Requirements:
- Experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), CAD data management, product structure management, or automotive engineering development.
- Strong understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) management, product configurations, and variant management.
- Experience supporting engineering design release processes and vehicle development programs.
- Working knowledge of CAD systems such as CATIA, NX, or Creo.
- Experience creating and maintaining product structures, engineering configurations, and release deliverables.
- Ability to analyze and resolve data integrity, CAD-to-BOM, and configuration management issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and engineering reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience supporting vehicle launches, prototype builds, and production programs.
- Knowledge of engineering change management and design release processes.
- Experience with reporting and analytics including release metrics, weight analysis, trend analysis, and where-used reporting.
- Familiarity with global engineering programs and workshare environments.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
Academic level:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Engineer degree in a relevant field.
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
