Join ONETEEM Tunisia as an Odoo Enterprise Engineer & Consultant

🌍 Location: Remote, anywhere in Tunisia

🕒 Start Date: Immediately

📌 Level: Senior, with a growth path to Tech Lead

💼 Full-Time Role

ONETEEM Tunisia SUARL is part of a fast-growing international group that engineers business systems for clients across Europe. We are building our Odoo Enterprise practice, and you would be one of the engineers who shapes it. Odoo runs everything a company does, from quotations and stock to accounting and manufacturing, so the work sits exactly where software meets how a business actually operates.

We want someone who owns a delivery end to end: in the workshop with the client, shaping the solution with the team, and building it alongside engineers and consultants who take this platform as seriously as you do. Not a consultant handing specifications to a developer, and not a developer waiting for requirements. The engineering makes the advice credible, and the client contact makes the code fit.

The role is fully remote within Tunisia: Tunis, Sfax, Monastir, Sousse, or anywhere with a connection you trust.

🎯 How We Work

Clients come to us with a problem, not a specification: stock numbers that never match reality, invoices assembled by hand from three spreadsheets, an approval process that lives in someone's inbox. First we understand it properly, then we pick the right tool. Often that means configuring standard Odoo, because standard Odoo that survives the next upgrade beats custom code that breaks on it. When configuration genuinely runs out, we build a module. Deciding where that line sits is the most interesting conversation we have, and we have it together before anyone builds.

Nobody here carries a project alone. Architecture is discussed before it is built, code is reviewed in both directions, and incidents get a team response. You are in the room at discovery and still there at go-live, so you see the consequences of the decisions you helped make.

Remote means distributed, not disconnected. We work asynchronously and we write things down. Our clients sit in Central European Time, so calls happen during working hours, and we meet in person regularly.

👨‍💻 What You'll Do

🐍 Develop custom Odoo modules in Python, extending through inheritance rather than touching core code

🧩 Configure and implement Odoo Enterprise across Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, and Project

🗣️ Run client workshops and requirements analysis alongside the delivery team, and challenge a requirement when the standard product already solves it

🖥️ Build views, QWeb reports, and OWL components for the parts of the system users touch every day

🗄️ Model data properly in PostgreSQL, and read a query plan before blaming the ORM

🔗 Integrate Odoo with client systems through its API, and own data migration from legacy tools

📦 Manage deployments, staging branches, and version upgrades so a go-live is never a surprise

🧪 Review your colleagues' code and have yours reviewed, and raise our testing standard

📝 Write the functional and technical documentation that lets anyone pick up the project tomorrow

🎓 Train client key users and hand over a system their team can actually run

🤖 Assess where Odoo 19 features, including its AI agents, create real value for a client and where they add risk

🛠️ Build internal tooling and reusable modules that make the next implementation faster than the last

🧑‍🏫 Share what you know, from mentoring juniors to writing up a pattern the team should reuse

✅ What You Bring

🐍 4+ years of software development with Python

🧩 3+ years hands-on with Odoo, including at least two full implementation projects you saw through to go-live

🏗️ Real command of the Odoo framework: ORM, inheritance, security rules, views, QWeb, and the upgrade implications of every choice

📊 Functional depth in at least two Odoo domains, with accounting, inventory, or manufacturing being the most useful to us

🗄️ Solid SQL and PostgreSQL, and the instinct to look at the data model first

🔗 Experience with integrations, imports, and migrations from legacy systems

📋 Experience delivering client projects in a team, with the architecture decisions, deadlines, and stakeholder conversations involved

🤝 The habit of thinking out loud: you explain your reasoning, ask before assuming, and change your mind when a colleague has the better argument

🏠 Proven remote working: clear writing, problems flagged early, team kept in the picture

🗣️ Excellent English, spoken and written, as you will be in front of clients regularly

📶 A reliable internet connection and a quiet space for client calls

🌟 Nice to Have

🎓 Odoo certification, or work as part of an Odoo partner

⚛️ JavaScript and OWL beyond the basics

🐳 Git, Docker, Linux, and CI experience

🌐 Odoo.sh or self-hosted deployment experience at scale

🏭 Manufacturing, WMS, or multi-company and multi-currency setups

🔄 Odoo version migration projects, especially onto 18 or 19

🧠 LLM APIs used in production, with enough scepticism to test what they produce

🇫🇷 French, and 🇩🇪 German if you have it

🎁 What We Offer

🏗️ A practice you help build, with real influence over how we deliver Odoo

🤝 A small, senior team where you have colleagues to think with rather than a queue of tickets

🏠 Fully remote work anywhere in Tunisia, on a proper Tunisian employment contract

🌍 Engineering work with international clients across the EMEA and AMER markets

📈 A clear path to Tech Lead and Solution Architect, with scope to grow from day one

🎓 Odoo certification paid for, and time to prepare for it

🧑‍🏫 People who review your work properly, and expect the same from you

💻 A MacBook and the equipment you need at home

🗓️ Flexible hours around the client calls that need you

✈️ Team meetups so remote does not mean anonymous

💰 Compensation matching your seniority and the breadth of the role, including a quarterly bonus

💼 Apply Now

Send us your CV. Tell us about an Odoo implementation you are proud of, along with one client problem you solved where the interesting part was not the code, and who you solved it with. If you have published modules or contributed to the OCA, share the links.
