Position: Category Manager

Job Description :

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Category Manager to lead the strategy for our product categories in international markets. You will work closely with various internal teams to align category objectives with the company's overall goals.

🚀 Develop and manage the category strategy for our products in international markets, in alignment with the company's global objectives.

🤝 Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to understand customer needs and develop strategies to meet those needs through partnerships with suppliers.

💼 Work closely with the Catalog Manager to ensure products are accurately represented and optimized in the online catalog, considering accuracy, completeness, and user-friendliness.

📈 Analyze product performance, including sales, stock levels, and customer feedback, to make data-driven decisions to optimize category performance.

💶 Participate in pricing strategy and contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure competitive conditions and advantageous offers for customers.

🔑 Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.

🏅 Provide leadership and direction to the category management team, ensuring objectives and initiatives are clearly communicated and understood.

Requirements:

🎓 Degree in business, marketing, commerce, or a related field.

🎗 Significant experience as a Category Manager or in a similar role, ideally within the food industry.

📊 Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

💬 Proficient in English or/and French

Strong command of the English or/and French languages, both written and verbal.

🗣️ Communication and Negotiation Skills:

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

👨‍🏭 Ability to work independently and lead a team

🌍In-depth knowledge of international markets is a plus.
