Accounting and Finance Assistant

Solar23 is recruiting a finance and accounting assistant to support its operations mostly on project levels and in its local subsidies.

The job location: is on-site and based in Tunis, and the projects and operations of the company are across the African continent. 

The start date: May 2024

The job description consists of the following: 

 - Collection, controlling, and follow-up of local accounting for projects and subsidies. 

- verification and tracking of invoices, expenses, and revenues reported by the local teams. 

- Perform financial analysis and periodic Reporting to management and stakeholders. 

- Offer administrative support and Support in budgeting, auditing processes, financial reporting, and other accounting and financial activities.  

- Ensure compliance to standards and regulations.

The job qualifications, skills, and profile include: A diploma in accounting or a related field, bi-lingual profile (French and English), Strong accounting knowledge and background, a good knowledge of MS-Office,  strong Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance and accounting, familiarity in using accounting software, key competencies include bookkeeping, data entry, and financial knowledge. 

Skills: analytical skills, detail-oriented, adaptability, communication, autonomous.. 

A Previous experience of one or two years in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
