Your Role

As a Frontend UI/UX Designer with coding experience at Wantotrip, you will be at the forefront of designing engaging and user-friendly interfaces for our mobile and web products. Specializing in Figma, your role will involve translating user needs and business goals into innovative design solutions that are visually compelling and easy to use. You will collaborate closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration of your designs into our technology stack.

Responsibilities

Design and prototype elegant solutions for web and mobile applications in Figma
Work closely with developers to implement your designs into code
Utilize your coding skills to assist in frontend development, particularly in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback
Refine and iterate user interfaces based on user feedback and analytics
Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
Stay updated with the latest trends in UI/UX design and frontend technologies

Qualifications

Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio, preferably with web and mobile applications
Proficiency in Figma for creating designs and prototypes
Basic coding skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with React is a plus
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively

Nice-to-Have

Experience in working with Agile/Scrum development processes
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Experience with user research and usability testing
