Job Description

COMPANY OVERVIEW: Stornest is a UAE based startup, with local company presence in Tunisia, that offers a unique service - a digital tool for legacy planning. Our service offers peace of mind to clients who feel that some of their assets or personal information of value that they keep private may be forever lost. We store our clients’ information and share it with their designated beneficiaries in case of their untimely passing.

We are a small and agile team that is passionate and committed about making our journey a success. We are expanding our tech team and looking for a Senior Developer to join us, to be based in Tunisia, to help to drive our company through a stealth growth stage to become a global leading player in our market.

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for an experienced developer who will report to CTO with a problem-solving mindset and ‘can do’ attitude to join our team ideally on a part-time basis with a plan to move into a full-time role within 2-3 months.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Handle the product/service technical requirements, identify and fix potential issues

2. Handle upgrades to the product including customized solutions for our B2B partners

3. Handle onboarding ‘white label’ solutions of our product with our business partners

4. Manage company profiles related to our product and suggest improvements if needed and applicable (Amazon Web Services, Twilio, IBM/Oracle, InPlayer, Api Layer, Google Drive, Dropbox etc.)

5. Report to CTO and co-founders regarding the technical updates

6. Develop technical roadmaps for the service

7. Conduct technical due diligence and test new system features, as well suggest improvements

REQUIREMENTS

A full stack development engineer with experience handling and developing using the following technologies:

Required tech experience

● Development languages:

o C# .NET

o Postgres SQL

o Javascript

o HTML5 / CSS

● Frameworks:

o ASP.NET MVC

o Node.js

● DevOps:

o CI and GIT SCM (Github)

o AWS and Oracle Cloud

o IAM (KeyCloack)

● Developing secure web applications using latest best practices

Additional tech skills that would be beneficial

• Android development

• WordPress experience

• Hyperledger and smart contract development using ChainLink

• Understanding of blockchain technologies

• Interfacing with payment gateways such as PayPal, Stripe, and others
