Automation Engineer

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Automation Engineering or a relevant technical discipline required.

•  Experience in an automation engineering role, with software development of PLC / DCS platforms.

• Experience in developing Automation related documentation (IO List, FDS, testing procedure…),

• Required basic knowledge of Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio),

• Experience in estimating workload,

• Participated in control systems Engineering, FAT, SAT commissioning and start up.

• Experience or knowledge in at least two of the following control systems, Allen Bradelly PLC, Plant Pax, FS view, TIA Portal, wincc, PCS7, DeltaV DCS, M580, Triconex, Wonderware Intouch, Foxboro DCS.

• Experience in industrial communication protocols.

• Ability to liaise directly with client on design issues.

• Performed advanced maintenance and troubleshooting tasks for instrumentation and control systems in accordance with customer requirements.

• Fast Learner

• Knowledge in Functional safety is a plus.

• Industrial cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description:

• Study customer input documents, and create control system solution (System Architecture, BOM, time estimation).

• Generation of Functional Design specifications for control systems, Testing Specifications for Control Modules, customized logic, and HMI Graphics based on customer Requirement Specification.

• Participate/Lead teams for Control systems Installation.

• Performing Control systems Engineering from basic to detailed engineering.

• Perform FAT and SAT.

• Provide recommendations to the customer on product or control systems solutions, improvements, and system health checks.

• Interpret technical user requirements relating to control systems and ensure that the delivered control system solution meets user requirements.

• Involvement for Site Commissioning activities.

• A combination of working from the office, and from customer sites.

• No objection for travelling abroad.
