Job Description

Run the day to day operations of the hackerspace smoothly and effectively

Manage the hackerspace capacity by coordinating with the sales and operations team

Serve members through instruction, providing clear processes and clean and safe work environments.

Work with Marketing to organize events such as workshops, info sessions, demo days, job fairs etc

Manage student and the instructor onboarding processes.

Provide post-sales technical support for new customers.

Create a supportive environment for learning, creativity, and creation.

Elicit feedback from students and instructors to ensure improvement in overall experience

Qualifications

You have a hands-on attitude and you don't shy away from completing a whole range of operational tasks.

Proactive, an excellent communicator and a community builder.

Aware that he or she is the only one who represents the students and instructors at the same time. Able to organize own work effectively and to establish priorities.

Able to work well as part of a team and independently.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively track many projects simultaneously.

Able to establish priorities for assignments when faced with heavy workload and deadlines.

Required education and experience

You have gained 1 year work experience in operations or project management role, customer experience or equivalent

Good English and French levels
