UX UI Designer (PFE)

Title: Design of a UX and UI System for an IoT-Connected Laboratory Platform  

Project Description

This project involves creating a seamless, user-centered design for a platform that connects laboratory machines with a mobile app and a researcher dashboard. The goal is to design an intuitive and visually appealing interface that enhances user experience while ensuring accessibility and efficiency. The platform will enable researchers to monitor and analyze data from laboratory machines remotely, making it critical to have an engaging and functional design.  

Main Objectives

1. Research and analyze user needs to develop a user-centric design.  

2. Design the mobile app interface using modern UX/UI principles, ensuring ease of use and visual consistency.  

3. Develop the web dashboard interface for researchers, focusing on intuitive data visualization and interaction.  

4. Create interactive prototypes and gather feedback through user testing.  

5. Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of the design.  

Technologies Required:

- Design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, or similar  

- Wireframing and prototyping: Figma, InVision, or Sketch  

- Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, and React Native) is a plus  

Project Duration

4 or 6 months, starting on February 1, 2025  

Work Conditions

- Remote Work: The entire project can be completed remotely  

- Office Option: Offices are available in Tunis Lac 2 and **Sousse, Tunisia, for those who prefer working on-site  

Candidate Requirements

- Language Skills: Proficiency in English  

- Mindset and Attitude:  

  - A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering quality work  

  - The mentality of an athlete: driven to excel, obsessed with achieving excellence, and passionate about design  

  - Attention to detail and a commitment to user-centric design principles  

- Portfolio: Share examples of your previous work in UX/UI design, such as:  

  - Prototypes, wireframes, or complete designs for mobile and web applications  

  - User research projects or usability testing initiatives

- This PFE is not remunerated, but a reimbursement will be provided upon successful project completion
