Title  

Development of an Integrated IoT System for Laboratory Machine Communication  

Project Description

This project aims to develop an advanced system connecting a laboratory machine with a mobile app and a researcher dashboard. The integrated system will enable real-time data collection, monitoring, and analysis from remote locations, enhancing the productivity and efficiency of researchers.  

Main Objectives 

1. Mobile App: Develop an app using React Native for configuring and monitoring laboratory machines.  

2. IoT Communication: Implement an IoT system for real-time data transfer from the machines to the cloud using Parse Platform and AWS.  

3. Researcher Dashboard: Create a dashboard with Vue.js for intuitive and interactive data visualization and analysis.  

4. Database & Data Analytics: Use InfluxDB to manage time-series data generated by the machines.  

5. Containerization: Apply Docker for scalable and portable system deployment.  

Technologies Required

- Frontend: React Native (mobile app), Vue.js (web dashboard)  

- Backend: Parse Platform for IoT communication and AWS for cloud infrastructure  

- Database: InfluxDB for time-series data management  

- Containerization: Docker for deployment  

Project Duration  

4 or 6 months, starting on February 1, 2025  

Work Conditions

- Remote Work: The entire project can be completed remotely  

- Office Option: An office at Tunis Lac 2 is available for use if preferred

- Language Skills: Proficiency in English

- This PFE is not remunerated, but a reimbursement will be provided upon successful project completion
