Marketing Intern

Position Summary: As a Marketing Intern, you will support us in executing various marketing strategies to build brand awareness, generate leads, and engage with our target audience. This role offers hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, digital marketing, and market research. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, has excellent communication skills, and is enthusiastic about the marketing field and the data governance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

Assist in writing, editing, and publishing blog posts, articles, newsletters, and social media content.

Develop compelling content for various platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and our company website.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging visuals and infographics.

Social Media Management:

Schedule and post content on our social media channels.

Monitor and respond to comments and messages across social media platforms.

Analyse social media performance and suggest improvements.

Market Research:

Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and target audience behaviour.

Compile and present findings to the marketing team to inform strategy.

Event Support:

Assist in planning and promoting webinars, workshops, and other virtual events.

Support event logistics and follow-up activities.

Analytics and Reporting:

Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.

Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A passion for marketing and an eagerness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous internship or work experience in marketing or a related field.

Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).

Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
