Social media manager - Summer internship

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Manager Intern to join our team and support our social media efforts, with a focus on promoting our newest project, an e-learning platform. This internship offers hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our e-learning platform.

Create engaging content for our social media channels, including writing posts, designing graphics, and editing videos.

Schedule and publish social media posts across various platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.

Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly and professionally.

Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content strategy.

Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate the performance of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Strong interest in social media marketing and digital communications.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for content creation.

Basic knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and their functionalities.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from supervisors.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software is a plus.

Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics) is preferred.

Passion for education and e-learning is a plus, but not required.
