For our Data-Driven Consulting practice, we are looking for a gritty person with a desire to get involved, who covers the role of Senior and Middle Data Engineer to support the Digital CRM Transformation of our client companies.

Who are you?

You have a master's degree in computer science and have at least 4 years of experience in the role in consulting companies or in companies specialized in Data Management.

You are passionate about new technologies and, moreover, motivated towards consulting as a professional choice, open-minded, curious, with enthusiasm and energy, relationally effective, with excellent communication skills both in written form and in oral presentation (Italian and English).

What will you do?

You will define modern "Data Platforms" based on articulated and "mixed" architectures (traditional + Big Data) operationally supporting the project team during the design, development, optimization, testing and release phases in production.

You will support the analysis of existing architectures, defining possible evolutionary architectural scenarios, qualifying PROS and CONS and evaluating costs, times and transition plans.

You will support the governance of transition programs on behalf of our clients by overseeing the definition of user requirements, functional and technical specifications on data ecosystem.

You will be responsible for updating the progress of the project to the PM. You will take care of the production of technical documentation and presentations.

MUST HAVE:

• a solid knowledge of the main DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and NoSQL DBs (MongoDB, CouchDB, Neo4J, etc.)

• a solid knowledge of Big Data platform and technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Kafka, Airflow) and data stream processing (Spark Streaming, Storm, etc.)

• experience in data modeling and development of data integration/transformation and data quality processes 2

• a good knowledge of ETL tools (ODI, Talend, SSIS, Informatica PowerCenter, DataStage etc.) and related administration, configuration, scheduling, flow management processes

• knowledge of Linux and Shell programming/scripting

• experience with version control tools (e.g. Git) good knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python)

• experience on Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS and MS Azure NICE TO HAVE: Certifications of Big Data & Analytics on HPE Ezmeral Data Fabric (formerly MapR) and/or Cloudera distributions is preferred.
