JOB DESCRIPTION: COMMUNICATION OFFICER INTERN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Communication Officer Intern to join our team. The Communication Officer Intern will work closely with the Communication Manager to support the organization’s internal and external communication activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a creative thinker, and have a keen interest in public relations, social media, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies related to the organization and to each event
- Develop, edit, and distribute internal and external communications, including newsletters, press releases, and social media content
- Monitor and report on media coverage and social media activity related to the organization
- Assist in planning and coordinating events, meetings, and other activities
- Support the maintenance of the organization's website and social media channels
- Conduct research on communication trends, best practices, and target audiences
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French is a big plus)
- Experience in other organizations or associations and clubs.
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic design skills and a good sense of aesthetics
- Familiarity with the innovation ecosystem is a plus
This is a full-time internship position with a duration of 3 months with the possibility of getting recruited.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the innovation ecosystem in Tunisia, in the region, and work with a dynamic team.
