Job Description

• Run the day to day operations of the hackerspace smoothly and effectively
• Manage the hackerspace capacity by coordinating with the sales and operations team
• Serve members through instruction, providing clear processes and clean and safe work environments.
• Work with Marketing to organise events such as workshops, info sessions, demo days, job fairs etc
• Manage student and the instructor onboarding processes.
• Provide post-sales technical support for new customers.
• Create a supportive environment for learning, creativity, and creation.
• Elicit feedback from students and instructors to ensure improvement in overall experience

Qualifications

• You have a hands-on attitude and you don't shy away from completing a whole range of operational tasks.
• Proactive, an excellent communicator and a community builder.
• Aware that he or she is the only one who represents the students and instructors at the same time. Able to organize own work effectively and to establish priorities.
• Able to work well as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively track many projects simultaneously.
• Able to establish priorities for assignments when faced with heavy workload and deadlines.

Required education and experience

• You have gained 1 year work experience in an operations or project management role, customer service, care or support
• Good English and French levels
