Data Science internship (CV Parsing)

• CV Parsers are tools that allow for the automation of extraction of information from CVs and transforms it in a structured way suitable for storage and manipulation, 
• CV parsing saves time for recruiters and HR reps by eliminating the manual processing and analysis of every job application, it also makes it easier for applicants by automating filling forms.
• For FABSKILL CV Parsers, are useful as they allow for a better user experience with fewer steps to make an account, and also they allow us to extract more information from candidates making job recommendations more accurate.

Project Description:

• Distinguish different components (name, age, phone number, email, picture, tasks, work experience, etc) of a CV from each other either using an OCR or REGEX.
  
• Extract as much information as possible from the components in a structured way in a JSON file.
• Use embedding techniques to represent CVs in a numerical way, which would allow for further calculations like the similarity between candidates etc
• Use the new CV Parser to further enhance FABSKILL’s previously developed matching algorithms.
