About the role:
We are looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our infrastructure, improving our continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and ensuring that our systems are secure and scalable. You will work closely with other members of the technical team to ensure that our systems are performing at their best.
Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain our infrastructure, including AWS cloud services and Docker containers.
· Manage and improve our continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or other similar tools.
· Develop and implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure that our systems are performing optimally
· Automate infrastructure and software deployments using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
· Work with the development team to ensure that our systems are secure and meet industry standards.
· Work with the security team to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
· Provide guidance and support to the development team to ensure that our systems are scalable and reliable.
· Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing
· Participate in on-call rotation for production systems.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related field
· 2+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field
· Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, and RDS
· Strong experience with Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or ECS
· Strong experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
· Strong experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
· Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
· Knowledge of networking and security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, and SSL/TLS
· Familiarity with logging and monitoring solutions such as ELK, Datadog, or Prometheus
· Experience with Git or other version control systems
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
· Passion for technology and innovation
